ACT Test Scores

Data includes average PA public school ACT scores. Data is organized by AUN, school district, number, name, and contains information on number of students tested and average ACT scores broken down by section (English, math, science, reading, composite, English/writing, writing sub-score).

High School Graduates, 2004-2011

Data capturing the number of recorded high school graduates from PA public schools (both graded and ungraded secondary schools) for individual years between 2004 and 2010. Data includes a glossary and information and statistics on the intended post-high school activities of graduates. Students who earn high school credentials by obtaining a General Education Development (GED) diploma do not constitute graduates in this data. Data originated from PA public school submitted data through the Pennsylvania Information Management System and Electronic Dropout/Graduate Report web-based system. Data from 2004 - 2007 is in PDF format. Data from 2007 - 2011 is in XLS format.

SAT Scores, 2001-2010

Data capturing average PA public school SAT scores from 2001-2010. Data is organized by AUN, school district, number, name, and contains information on number of students tested and average SAT scores broken down by section (verbal, math, and writing when applicable). Data is developed by the Pennsylvania Department of Education.

School Dropout Rates, 2004-2012

Data captures PA public school dropout rates for individual school years between 2004 and 2012. Data on secondary students in grades 7-12 is organized by AUN, county name, recorded number of dropouts for male and female students, total dropouts and dropout rate. Dropout rate is calculated as the total number of recorded dropouts at the end of the school year divided by total recorded amount enrolled at the beginning of the same school year. Data originates from the Pennsylvania Information System Management System, the Public School Enrollment Report, and the Public School Dropout Survey. Data from 2004-2007 is in PDF format. Data from 2007-2012 is in Excel format.
